Bugsy arrived from the SPCA seven years ago as a three-and-a-half month old puppy. He was lucky enough to find a forever-home with the Moores. Dorinda writes "we could never have asked for a more gently, happy dog than what he was. Just looking for fun all the time, and when he was not up to mischief, he wanted to lie next to our feet wherever we were sitting." Sadly, Bugsy passed away from cancer in Februray this year. He is missed by his human family.

It's always an honour for me to capture the memories of a much loved pet. Those who are rescued are indeed the lucky ones, but they return the favour ten-fold with incredible love and devotion. Clearly Bugsy was no exception.

Dorinda had this to say: Thanks for the most beautiful portrait of Bugsy. Harold and I were in tears. I can't say thank you enough.

[Love my 'job.']

You captured a beautiful sweetness that his family will always cherish. Wonderful work, Colleen.
